Fai:hehehe, even though it was country music, but still your drifts are very nice and fast, I must say. close ratio gear? erm...are you using a non-stock gear box? oh yeah,do you mind posting up your settings for the S15 too? TQ...
alien:welcome.i dun know with everyone else here but i must admit that i am also a newbie in GT4 drifting. Having a TT is also quite good. kekeke. May i suggest to you drifting a low HP car like a Levin or a Cappucino? Or maybe you can set the TSM level to 21 for "Understeer" first then later try to learn to turn it off? Maybe these tips can help you as it helped me also...
namzy:TT during this coming Friday? well,it is quite a good idea. BTW,even though i frequently go to TTs with my mum's car, but i can only use it during when she is not around. Most probably i will be coming with a scooter as i can't get a car and also to save trouble on parking problems...kekeke
prozac:welcome to you also.i am more or less expected you to post in this thread, especially after looking your first GT4 drift picture under the drift section in this forum.(I think that is also the first GT4 drift picture in this forum produced solely from our own forum member)
Regarding on soft tyres, i have been experimenting them majorly on MR cars, especially those higher HPs, such as Pagani Zonda and such. Still, i must say it is easier to control, compared to Economical tyres but still I am still not used to the torque of a high HP cars so I still need much practicing on my throttle control.
Yeah, D1 cars you can basically drift them out of the box. But there is another tuner car that I would like to recommend is the S2000 from Amuse. That car can really suit your drift or grip tastebuds. I am starting to like this car. I think the car is accomodating on these both situations.
My fav tracks basically is Tsukuba(I still dunno why many people in other forums say that it sucks for drifting?), Mini Autumn Ring, Apricot Hill and Tokyo R246. Sumtimes when i get fed-up of drifting i will just go to Montegi Super Ring(the one like the US Nascar oval track) there to let out my frustrations, kekekeke.
