evo3 front lower arm will move ur tires futher to the front...around 1inch if not mistaken....if u r using big rims/thick tires wif stock wira bodykit, it might sangkut front bumper...
n also, the ARB for evo3 lower arm is connected to ur front absorbers...this u need to check ur fren's current abs whether it has the place to mount the ARB.....

well...if ur fren is so interested in all the bars....
go to ultra racing n get ALL the bars dat they hav for wira lo...

Can.. pnp. Provided ur absorbers have a mounting bracket to mount the linkage.

Thay are not expensive anyway. Ard RM400/set. And the bushes are a little stiffer than stock bushes. So, no need to place with super pro untill they are damaged.

Only abt 10-15mm forward. It increases the wheel base and mproves of the caster angle when turning the steering.

Ultra Racing, value for money. And the work...

U can find the rear arb for MIVEC. Or Wira 1.6/1.8, Satria GTI, Putra. Good enough...

Hi Guy
Have you change the spring also , lower spring offer greater stability . the 2nd criteria is type of tyre you are using the width, height all inter related - Try those low profile 50 series with 205 width. Make hell off difference in car handling characteristic . Last part weight ratio-- move battery to the back trunk to shave few KG ( last option most less cost effective)

Happy driving:driver::rofl:

Ooh yeah miss out

UR - Bar is a must --- super bang for the buck, you can feel the difference instantly , without changing your car setup. I got it in my matrix and myvi, Excellent stuff :adore::adore::biggrin:

205/50 on a 1.5 wira? MAD thick weih, go for 195/50/15, it wont mess up your speedometer and its still grippy

Oh you could try autofoam! It helps quite a fair bit also...

Btw, what type of handling ur fren want?
High speed stability, conering handling? or just city drive handling?
base on what he has is good enough already.

For local car, what u need is to purchase 1 set good quality coilover hi-low soft hard suspension kit.
test with few set of spring rate set up to suit for what he want.

2nd, 3 points fender bar and 4 points lower arm bar are the must. other is just depand how is ur budget.

3rd, try to get a set of Mitsubishi complete bottom chasis to replace... 22mm front anti roll bar and 16mm rear anti roll bar will assist a lot.

This is what I did on my Satria... if with this type of set up still not enough, think he need to change the car.

hope can help.

if still not ok with the above then spot weld car body and install FIA approved 12/16points roll cage... confirm racing car...

aiya... No need to change car first. can still go for evo 2/3 lower arm chasis with direct mount 17mm arb. Handles well... Longer wheel base n better caster angle.

Agreed with better coilovers.... But where got so many sets of springs with different springrate to try. Yah.... Titan can do it. Test until u feel good. Change until u feel satisfy n 2 years warranty... I wish I could afford to have. Won't be thinking of until my Tein worn off...

yamen... Autofoam + welded body + full roll cage.... Racing body. HKS/D2/Aragosta/Ohlins absorbers + evo 2/3 front arb + FTO rear arb = racing set up on track = ultimate vibration on the road(applicable at Malaysia road)

U won;t be able to fix the EVO rear ARB unless u convert your body into an AWD body. Meaning to say, cut the floor and replace with EVO floor. Else, the curving on the EVO rear ARB will sangkut on the body..

So, FTO is the thicker ones(21mm if I'm not mistaken) compare to MIVEC(17mm) and GTI(17mm). But harder doesn't means better. It mae also cause over steering of ur car. So far, I heard MIVEC rear ARB is good enough.

so far, complete UR bars has been installed except the middle lower bar n side lower bar, GAB SS SERIES ( work well ), Lenso Project D rim with 205/40. ?
GAB...? Muahaha.. how to high speed corner then..? If Japanese GAB ok la... BTW, Just FYI GAB is made in Malaysia. Same manufacturer as the absorbers brand PXXther... The true Japanese GAB is ony available from halfcut. No more new Japanese GAB.

Better fo for Real Japs absorbers or at least HWL/Hotbits/Titan built up their brand by their own effort. And not use a name of a closed down Japanese brand.

Ultra Racing is bang for money. But it doesn't mean the best. Antiroll Cage will makes u feel damn 97 good. Replaces all the bars...

EVO 2/3 lower arn has to come together with the ARB. Yes, mounted on the absorbers.

Rear FTO ARB, need to get the bracket and the bush when buy the ARB.

If u really need a good high speed handling... The suspension system(absorbers, ARB, Chasis, Steering) can gives u up to a limit....

Changing all the bushes to PU bushes. Reinforce the car frame via autofoam.

Get a modified clutch-pack aka full lock LSD on your GB. U'll immediately feel the difference....

Then, u are talking about good handling.

cornering ability and high speed stability is totally different league lah... satria, 2drs civic, citroen saxo, renault clio all these short length car are superb in cornering... longer length definitely have better high speed stability... you can't hv both best things in the world... since your friend car is turbocharged and wira i think target for hi speed is good...

BTW, if money no problem why dun buy another car and mod? any special reason?
