4g91 or 4g93?

Haha you noticed that Evo also. Yeah that one very extensively modded, must have spent more than half the price of the car already on mods alone. Such amount of power needs skillful hands & feet to control. 235 width tires may seem small but remember that this is AWD car, so the traction is a lot more. If you compare with RWD supercars, even with huge 345 or 355 rear tires, those actually still has less traction for the driven wheels and much easier to shred the rear tires than the 235 on the AWD Evos. That's why AWD cars like Evo, WRX, GTR, 911 Turbo etc2 have devastating initial acceleration from standstill.

It was from Ipoh, so I noticed. WSR 1989 plate. But I have never seen that car before. Yes, for sure that Evo would have costed a fortune in mods. The asking price for this Evo is still quite high despite all the mods. Loan is probably not allowed either since the car is over 10 years old, so it could be difficult for one to fork out this amount of cash. High price for a hard to control car might not appeal to many people. Also, the ex owner stated before that this is a drag spec car, so handling is probably compromised in favor of acceleration and speed.

True about 4WD having more traction than 2WD but I din't expect 235 width tyre is actually good enough for this amount of power. This car makes almost as much power as R35 but using narrower tyres than R35's 255/40/20 front and 295/35/20 rear. Other than power, maybe because of R35's weight that it needed such width?

When you mention 345 and 355, my mind goes to Countach and the new SRT Viper rear tyres.
