Very nice! Can I ask what brake calipers are you using? From evo?

Yes front brakes are evo .brembo but you need to change the hubs and drive shafts to fit them the right way :driver:

you can also make a custom bracket to mount the brembo for front. so you dont have to get evo knuckle and driveshaft

Hi everyone, sorry for digging the old thread. I would like to know, is it safe to use caliper bracket in our car? or better goes with the evo7 knuckle and shaft?

If the bracket is of good quality steel or alu then it's fine. But if you can figure out how to swap the evo7 parts then do it. Either way works

Just a note though - changing the knuckle and all means more rims and potentially ARB connections.

ask ur mech.... i believe the entire evo knuckle can be put on

Ok! Will pay a visit after this MCO. Thanks!

I think what he means if change knuckle more work, have to remove more things and reconnect back.....lol

ARB = Anti roll bar.

Sounds like like you got a pretty straight forward PNP installation. What brakes are these again?

driveshaft maybe ok coz airtrek most stuff should be pnp with evo 7.
omg it just occurred to me, he didnt really say he was going for evo brembos.....

if hes going for aftermarket brakes theres little point of going for evo knuckles (unless those are evo pnp brakes)

my appologize bros, yes, eyeing on Evo7 brembo. but not sure to go with bracket or straight change with knuckle, shaft etc. :)

ah ok. if like that u will need the knuckle and the driveshaft. did some search on other forums, evo driveshaft is a bit larger than airtrek so not direct pnp on the knuckle. if u just swap the calipers, just like u said, you will need brackets. but cheapest option is caliper and brackets.
