guys, anyone know how to clean cylinder head? to remove all the dark colour that stick to the cylinder head...i know it can remove with an acid but i dunno wat acid...mind to share........
Hi I went to car modification and cant find the thread (look thru till page 69)...cause this is interesting and would look more on any diy methods to clean cylinder head...like steam clean or wut?? or just pour in n shake the whole thing......hehehehe...
not decarb la bro...wat i mean is when do overhaul or top overhaul...after take out the head dismantle everything...just the head cylinder...how to clean all the dirt/dark inside cause of the engine oil...
start you car engine,
rev the engine how high is up to you...
then spary some mist of water at the carb intake...
do this for few times...your cyclinder head will be clean off carbon...

it's call gum deposit.usually from a cooked cylinder oil(this is what happen if
u guy's don't change the engine oil regularly as recomended by the manufacturer).
usually we scrape it off.i wonder whether the acid from paint remover can clear
it off?
Hey everyone, Im planing on getting a BMW E21 as a affordable 1st car.
Ive been reading alot about the E21 and the 323i model interest me the most.
My concern about getting this car is about the oil consumption.
Im posting this here in hopes that you guys out there can share with me about the oil consumption of the E21.
323i is 2.3 I have a feeling that it might drink petrol like water or maybe not,
