This unit can be installed in car model with original fitted water spray system or without water spray system. An extra fine water spray at a fixed interval that gives you a superior cooling results. This controller can also be used for cars already fitted with factory water spray system (Impreza STI, Evolution Model). The best ideal will be for those car model without factory water spray system, utilised of the car's rear windshield washer line and optional part Nozzle Kit (sold separately with the controller). This controller also have the features of Engine RPM scaled Auto-Spray Function , Water level Auto-Check and Stop Function and Countdown Display.

I think Joeker was in the midst of coming up with this. Have you checked the DIY forum? I remember seeing this before somewhere

if u want it to be auto based on rpm, u could get a shift light... hook up the wire to activate the spray instead of the light or hook up both.

mister nozzles for fans, etc (like those at coffee bean or at shell stations)

1. where to buy, how much?

2. can they be run on pressure of the wiper pump motor?

i am sure the fine mist of such a nozzle has a very good cooling effect...if we can make it work...

i think the intercooler water spray activation should be triggered when reaching a certain preset turbo boost level. after all, the intercooler is originally there to help cool down the hot compressed air from the turbo and this air would definitely get hotter as the boost gets higher, at which the water spray would help the intercooler do a better job.
