best if after purchase install an oil cooler for your gearbox.. to safeguard it... other than that.. i have a friend driving an airtrek for about 4 years.. not much problem.. just the normal wear and tear..

I own a 2003 Airtrek Turbo. So I can share my experience.

Fuel Consumption - In stock, it used to be around 7km/liter. After modification like increased boost, better plugs, air filter, straight flow exhaust and tweaking of ECU, I get about 5.7 to 6.3km/L. Also very dependable on your mood of driving.

Maintenance - Pretty normal like any other Evos. Engine oil change every 5-7K for fully sync and 15K for LSD (front and rear) and ATF.

Spare parts - No problem.

Turbo and gearbox - no problem if periodical oil change and like others said, oil cooler kit will be beneficial.
