What brand of fuel you guys running?

Yeap exactly. Between my house & office also got 3 Petron stations, so it's convenient.

I often pump Shell before when going to my previous project location. I honestly cannot tell the difference between Shell, Esso/Petron, or any other ones.

My VR4 cannot take Shell woh! That was the older formula FS RON97. Pump in and feel like Esso Ron95 that I tried earlier, so have to siphon out put in my NA Hyundai and pump back Esso Ron97.
Now the V power Racing Ron97 dare not try already.....:hmmmm:

Nowadays can't find the Red V-Power liao...not many have that anymore. I think is cuz not many are pumping Ron97 either....

Got brother. Most of the Shell station in my area have both Ron 95 and V Power Ron97.
Only specific stations have the spacial fuel the V Power Racing....

Shell tried once and takut already.....so dare not try again.....

yeap....even ron95 also got different.....


pump shell ron95 then my knock sensor detect knocking and check engine light lit.....use till empty and pump mobil/esso/petron then ok back to normal.....

So far no knocking, but Ron97 Shell really different in terms of acceleration smoothness. Not sure la, that's what I felt.

2 weeks+ been using Ron97. So, still testing, then go back to Ron95.

Don't use until your car shiok with Ron97, later change back to Ron95, he cough cough.....

anyway nearest to my house is petronas. Petron (originally mobil) still in the process of changing their looks. Shell, and BHP are kinda way off. going to the station itself and turning back home just for the sake of filling up fuel is really a hassle.

I had a go with BHP. From tanjung malim to Ampang. Fill up full on my sister's preve. Fuel usage indicator didn't go down. Was quiet surprised. The only reason tried BHP was that the petronas station there at that time ran out of fuel supply lol. BHP station suddenly become crowded

By the way, do you guys tend to mix fuel for example fill BHP Ron95, later minyak left quarter and fill up with Petronas 95 since not sure when you'll meet up the next available BHP station ? Any effects in mixing it such as performance, fuel consumption and etc.?

I don't think much difference this way. Mine always same brand because station nearby and loyalty points.....

I dont feel much difference also. For me if no Shell, only other petrol station, will just pump RM10. Then only pump full when I find one..

Worse one was Petronas.

97 at Premium price. Yesterday was at petrol station, 97 now at RM2.75 per liter.....
