recommended would be ron 97, due to the higher compression ratio of the type r. if u use ron 95 (some say) engine knocking will occur.. however, thats just based on what i read..

i use ron 95 on my 16a, no probs.

i use Petronas ron 95 since the day its have been introduce....last week i remove my cylinder head and notice my piston damn dirty......

bro better dont put 95 ....that's just my HONEST OPINION .... if can avoid la bro.

pity that beautiful engine you got....please...feed her 97....read the millions of threads started about ron 95...

and yes bro arrow is right...your compression is higher compared to other b series...

and bro amTonjet experience

yea.. at least also use the ron97

if can use v-power the best :D

Use 97 man. Even on my dads 04 civic ES (The 1 with the weird 1.7 engine) when I switch to 95 the engine loses damn lot of power when fully loaded compared to 97...

they are phasing out VPOWER already... its already near extinction.. in some states no more available..

Thanks a lot for all the answer from all of you .. Friend...hehe...now i can make a very right choice for my honey...hehe

my mechanic also recommend me ron 97 as minimum requirement for my b16b engine. v-power is highly recommended. ron 95 is cheaper but your fc will going up and it will affect your engine performance and lifespan.

dun using ron95, coz in the end of the day, sure u'll regret like batu hamtam ur own bola...
