Would not be a silly decision, just have to set your priorities on what you want from your smartphone.
Pros for this phone is dual sim card, 5" screen but TFT only. Dual Core processor but price I think is quite cheap, right?
If need faster processor then look at S III or wait for S IV.....

If you're looking for dual sim phone then this is the best choice. It's relatively cheaper due to lower resolution TFT screen, as opposed to Full HD AMOLED screens like other higher end Samsung phones.

Samsung is a good buy, good all-rounder phone.. After sales service is good ( in my case it was )

P/S: Ninethology is a good dual-sim phone too, running android 4.0. Screen colour is vivid, better than my Galaxy Tab 7+. Plus, it is running a no-nonsense Android 4.0, unlike other big brands where they like to add-on their useless apps on top of the Android.. If you're eligible for the rm200 rebate, can get it for just RM499

you can use few apps like 'phone spec' and compare the phone spec to original spec. Usually, cheaper (china/korea) phone screen resolution is very low. You can check screen resolution using apps also.

If you really into buying this phone, go to where you can access over internet and install those apps during trying. Hope this may help.
