[HELP] Change timing belt for BT

Can anybody tell me is the timing belt for BT same as normal 4AFE ?? What is it code? Any other parts need to be changed togehter ??

I can't remember the part number but it's definately not the same with the 4A-FE's. Other than the belt, it's a normal practise that the timing oil seals, the belt tensioner bearing & the water pump. Just ask from the spare parts shop 20v's timing belt, they should know.

I just move to stay in Bukit Indah, Johor. Anybody can recommend spare part part shop and woskshop here? I scare some them don't know anything but pretend they know.

u now using your own seg (bt) ? or using another seg (com.car ) ?

the timing belt is diff than 4afe one.

bro, i've my previous seg running BT 20v engine. bought from ST Auto KL (Authorised Dealer) 03-40421669. try to find Ah wong. he will tell what part need to change. They r d Original Toyota Parts Supplier. Good luck. If got extra money, better change original water pump.

Dear all, I just got quote from a workshop

1. cost for 4AFE (changing timing belt + oil seal + bearing + water pump + labour) Rm475 all part using toyota original

2. cost for 4AGE Blocktop still asking .....

Is it consider cheap or expensive?

i bought BT spare parts, around 400 without labour. labour around rm80 if not mistaken.

last change my blacktop :
1) Timing belt (toyota) = RM155
2) timing belt Bearing = RM195 (order)
