i havent driven one but i would imagine that 206cc have a bulk convertible system between rear passanger and the bonnet rite. this would give additional weight to the car and comparing it with it with hatch 206 std, it would add another 100kils on the kerb weight. ur power to weight ratio would reduce around 5-10%. maybe thats y. my 2cents

cuz CCs are made more for a looker and stylish class. Where it turns head as you passby instead of performance oriented. So naturally 206CC by standards are not underpowered, it is just designed and intended to be as a Stylish class of factor.

Different class from sports performance car.

Underpowered = Slow = More LPM(looks per minute) at the high streets.
