havent used many types of tires, but the michelin pilot precedas so far is good in dry, and in wet...

previous tire used is the bridgestone my-01, so compared to that, the precedas are superior...but if compared to advans, toyos etc. etc. i wouldnt noe; never tried

and I m sure this tyre is not for rally...

Wat car U are using rite now? if Wira, the 195/55/15 was gud enuff oredi. Not too high and not too low. 55 series tyre can reduce too much tyre flicking when approching hard cornering.

Michelin Pilot Preceda 2
- gud in wet and dry condition. Purposely design for normal road use and hiway blasting.

Yokohama Parada Spec 2
- gud in dry but beware on wet. Aqua planning is not so gud. For trackday purpose, its 4/5 stars.

Toyo T1R
- gud in wet and dry condition. Purposely design for normal road use and hiway blasting. For trackday purpose, its 4/5 stars.

Bridgestone RE001
- gud in wet and dry condition. Purposely design for normal road use and hiway blasting. For trackday purpose, its 4/5 stars.

Advan Neova AD07
- gud in dry but beware on wet. Aqua planning is not so gud. For trackday purpose, its 4.5/5 stars.

Goodyear Eagle F1
- gud in wet and dry condition. Very gud aqua planning. Purposely design for normal road use and hiway blasting. For trackday purpose, its 2.5/5 stars.

Toyo R888
- gud in dry but beware on wet. Aqua planning is not so gud. Purposely design for road and track use. For trackday purpose, its 5/5 stars.

Just base on my experience.

Used Toyo Proxes T1R before, It will make u "Singing In The Rain" while other vehicle-on-cheap-rubber-compound-tires suffer & cursing themselves in the midst of torrential downpour. Believe me because my kampung is the venue for Malaysian/ Asia Pacific Rally 2007~2008!

It also have a wow factor... "Wah ini tayar mahal la abang, berapa satu bijik?"

Hey guys,Thought of just penning some of my thoughts about Yokohama Parada.I'm using it at the moment and IMO it has very thin sidewall,so when u get into the corner it feels very wobbly. Not to mention noisy somemore. So far during wet it is still alright.may be have not max it out yet as i'm afraid of ending up id the ditch.hehe.So for me it won't be Yokohama Parada for me the next time around.

195/60/15 is quite a rare size la.....
i know parada spec 2 dont have thsi size, they dun even have 55series, only in 50series.....
as for T1R and AD07, also never heard of 60series.....
even i asked tire shop oso they say dun have.....
but i did saw 60series for AD07 on my mech's car...
but dat set of tires came wif his halfcuts.....

if u could accept 55series tires, it would b easier for ur tire hunting....
like everyone said, T1R is good in dry n wet, balanced.....
n AD07 is good in dry but u hav to becareful on wet....
thread wear i guess both of this tires r pretty much the same la....
i had used 2sets of T1R before and is on my 1st sets of AD07 now.....
T1R should be able to last for 40k-50k km if i not mistaken....
n its not totally botak (still can last 1 track day), only the side have minimal groove but middle still got quite a lot (both sets of my T1R have the same prob).....
as for AD07 thread wear, i'm not too sure, just used for abt 6mths now.....
but a lot of ppl says AD07 wear off faster than T1R....
dat's wat ppl said la.....
heheee
