Hi guys,

The time has come for me to replace the suspension on my ride. Was wondering, any recommendations? This car is a daily driven car and I don't foresee any track days for it. Any recommendations? Any feedback on tein super street? What's the difference between type ha nd flex and super street?

Thanks:driver::driver:

If not mistaken Type HA is an older model.

Type Flex more or less same age as Super Street.

Super Street is more towards comfort with slight performance (stiffer) advantage over stock (I'm using Super Street on my car). No issues going touge although I think may be inadequate if u'd like to attack Sepang wholeheartedly.

Type Flex is fully adjustable and is a good starting point if ur interested in suspensions made for performance (had this in my previous car, bought new and comes with pillowball mounts).

Perhaps Type Monoflex gives u a better performance and more adjustability as it is newer than HA, Flex and Super Street.

Depends on ur application, choose wisely.

I was happy with my Tein Super Street. Set it to 3/4 to hardest setting and was happy with it until about a year ago where I set it to full hardest setting. Now I am tempted for a better set of coilovers but budget can't be found yet.

Wah you guys all suggest coilovers that cost 5 figures. LOL

Wah... Ohlins and aragosta out of budget ler... Maybe I shud settle for super street instead?

any other suggestions? btw, is 8KG/6KG spring rate too stiff for daily driven ride?

anyone heard of BC Racing before?

thanks

If anyone is looking, my coming shipment have a couple of set of GTT coilovers. All in mint condition. I have Tein Super Street, Nismo S-Tune and Nismo R-Tune. Email me if you wanna know more. - [email protected]

if i'm looking for similar spec (stiffness) as the original, what model is similar? also, is it possible to buy the original back?

what is RCS?

is it possible to service back and re-use my absorber? because 3 of them is still good, only 1 is leaking

RCS = radical chassis solution. it's a custom made but proven to be better than aragosta. u can ask tom to verify this.
same row as N1 racing at sunway.

go to that shop, tell them what u want. have a test ride with cars equipped with RCS.

Just curious, in what way would it be proven to be better against other offerings like Aragosta?

what is the original shock for er34? is it koni or kyb?

Brands and costs aside, I don't think you can compare custom tailored suspension with off the shelf items.
