nowadays bank loan all depends on ur document nt the car anymore.pay on time, name never pop up in cris, ctos n only 1/3 of ur salary for banking commitment r the things the banker looking at.
not really.. i had first hand experience only recently.. it all comes down to the age of the vehicle and also the type of vehicle.. especially our type which is "Sports SUV"..
most banks rejected my loan because of the age and type.. interest rate also depends on this.. mine was 4.1% for 6 years.. my fren who bought a used Proton car of the same year got 3.6% with the same bank.. and he got 7 years..
and yes, max loan for '03 ATR is RM63k with CIMB.. Ambank offered RM51k because of vehicle type.. other banks rejected because of the age and vehicle type combination... i'm not sure about other states though, as all depends on the bank manager...
