that day i sent my car, Lexus LS 250 size 245/45/17 to sevice and only i realize that my tyre tread had completely wear off. omg, so dangerous!! the service advisor advice me to change my car tyre and he suggest me to get Michelin PS3. is this tyre really good? quite exp thou. anyone tried before? is it worth getting? cause if exp but good, then still ok geh..

How much? You should go to tyre price thread to compare the price. Although I have not used PS3 before, I have heard many good feedback.

Aiya.. Michelin PS3 you can't go wrong la. Just make sure you don't have bulging sidewalls or peeling tyre thread which seems to be the usual complaints for the PS3. But at the same time if you don't have issues the PS3 is a pretty good tyre.

Usually you won't go wrong with Michelin.

Yup, PS3 is proven. Many good feedback. But are you getting them from the SC. I think they will be more expensive. Probably you can check the prices with outside tyre shops.
Having said that you can browse through other brands like Yoko, GY, Conti and so on too to compare their prices. Yoko top is Advan V105, GY Asy2, Conti CSC5, Toyo T1-Sports to name a few...:driver:

Er, LS 250? Is there such a model? I only know LS usually comes with LS460 or LS600h...

if michelin could supply tires for airbus A380.. i think they would make a wonderful road going tires. enough said.

Michelin always come out with the tyre which meet the latest technology, their advance technology make them one of the top tyre brand. The quality for Michelin ture is very good. It is also a chosen tyre for Leman contest. And the design of tyre is up to date and even Porche is using Michelin tyre.

Don't be such an obvious advertiser la.

Yeah maybe it could be IS. The only 250 I've heard before is IS, ES and GS only.

FYI
World Ranking 1= Bridgestone
No 2 = Michelin.

PS3 = Sport Tyre
For Lexus I will suggest Primacy 3 , or Bridgestone GR100, or Toyo C1S , if u want comfort + Quietness.

why so concern about tyre? Tyre not all same ar? I never choose my tyre by myself,I always depends on service centre to recommend me tyre that suitable for my car..

Not the same. Have extreme, Max, UHP, HP, comfort performance, entry level, eco tyres, just have to choose accordingly to your priorities of use....:driver:

I like the way you said that. Next time you are ready to change your tyres I'll bring you to go get Accelera / Forceum / Linglong tyres. Then you can judge for yourself just whether all tyres are "all the same" or not.

Especially Linglong tyres. You'll drift even if you don't have a RWD car and only need 20km/h to get into a catastrophic accident.....

Linglong some more is rated tyres in China together with Wanli. They are already that bad, just imagine others like Jinyu, Hifly, Zeta, Triangle, Sailun etc.....:smokin:
