u mean if stock internals boost @ 1.5 bar on a gsr will go bye-bye rite? hmmm so what is the highest boost achievable on a gsr with standard internals...

what to do to the gsr engine if wanna boost as high as 1.5bar or maybe higher on a gsr?
 
no other choice bro
u may lower ur compression by having a thick metal gasket
but then , ur conrods might not be able to keep up more than 1.5bar
most importantly ur fueling , no right fueling 1.2bar also kaboom one

forged pistons JE is the cheapest i guess .. and get eagle conrods
but u can also ceramic coat the pistons
but some go for other pistons example is levin's one.. im not very sure bout tht ..
 
so the forged pistons JE one roughly how much? and the eagle conrods also how much..? then must also balance & lighten the engine rite?
 
JE pistons as i know is 2k offer in mme
eagle conrods no clue .. should be 2k+
not a must to balance and lighten .. its best to do only
 
point to note, don't expect your engine hp to be the same as the turbo hp unless you have the proper engine setup. Eg. if you get a T88 on a 1.6 wira it will never spool. Bigger doesn't always mean better.
