Hi,

Would like to enquire what ECU is Putra 1.8(M) using? My car was stolen some 2months back and had been recovered mimus the ECU and some other stuffs. Now having problem finding the ECU. Had looked for it from spare part shop and they asked for the ECU number. Anybody knows what is the number? Thay informed it is a 4digit number on a sticker on the ECU.

whatdamn,

normally putra ecu should be 5537 and satria gti should be 0450(APM) or 2468..

5537 is also used by wira 1.8 LE

so there are 3 types of ECU(mitsu) for all 1.8 proton model except waja1.8(renault) hehe..

All 3 are the same, so any of them can be swapped to any 1.8 putra/gti/wira

BUT

There's a slight difference for 0450/2468 if compared to 5537

0450/2468 got a socket where you can bury aftermarket performance chip in it.. which is not available for 5537..

so, in short.. you're a lucky putra owner.. hehehe

putracraze,
You go and buy la.. then if you win, we split the prize into 2.. hehehe

The Mclaren F1 is over 20 years old, and yet it remains unsurpassed in many areas except for going in a straight line. So while it still rocks our world, a replacement model has been long overdue, but us fans and potential owners have to wait no longer as Mclaren has confirmed it will launch a follow-up to the legend in 2012.

It has long been rumoured that a successor would be introduced somewhere...
