wow, thanks for the info.
really appreciate it

Do you know what is the model of that aisan carb?

btw, what is "SU" carburetor?
i read from here
Proton made a wise choice for the carburetor to use. They didn't choose the emissions controlled vacuum feedback Aisan or Keihin but SU carburetors. Gives the engine a very throaty roar. Many COE car owners with defunct Japanese carbs go up north to find Proton SUs to stick into their cars.

ori carb... fuel/air jettings cannot be changed... no flexibility in tuning....
weber carb... fuel/air jettings can be changed for more power/save fuel depending on the engine needs... much more flexibility in tuning wise...

second hand ori aisan carb is selling about RM250-RM350... depending on seller and the carb condition....

wonderful thing about carburetors is that they can be used in any cars, given that the air/fuel settings are correct.... they are cheaper and requires cheap n less maintainence....

if u need more info about aisan carb on its fuel/air jetting sizes, i have them in my proton manual book...

Skywalker, since u got the Proton Manual book, can u tell me my Saga fuel tank capacity
is how many litre?

I own a 1991 Saga AB 1.5 Auto 12V Magma Carb

When i stand in front of the car bonnet, i see the engine and behind the engine is a carb.
On the right side of the carb, i see 2 UFO but i feel non of them is an EGR. May i know
does this car model actually had one?
