hi guys

i drive a 12 year old wira with the stock standard cassette player / receiver.

my question is, if i pull out the cables at the back, ie; remove the head unit, will the receiver activate its security the next time i install it back in?

thanks in advance.

cheers

Yes..security is activated when battery power is removed.

But if not mistaken it could be the model with the card which then is no problem.

no no...my model isn't the one with the card

if like that, so how? can i remove....then put it back in at a later date without probz?

thanks

go look for the manual (prob a blaupaunkt) for the security code..

Otherwise if you've already done it and can't figure out the code, go to a dealer for them to reset your code or reprogram the EEPROM inside the unit :)

saru-ken .. ;)

proton stock players dont have security blocking features ..
this applicable to blaupunkt and clarion player.

ure receiver is plug & play, remove and plug in whenever u want dude.. no problem at all .. dont worry. but of cos the head will corrupt abit if u install back after 5 yrs ;) ekekek

where u stay .. any prob contact me ;) 012-3260 434

cheers!
