hehe..i think of turbo performance
not that good in the city drive
we don need high rev everytime
i don think i will put turbo
maybe a cam will do :)

there is a thread in forced induction section, someone offering RM2200 for bolt on turbo on a kenari or kelisa..... sound good to me.

somemore i heard there is one guy even drive the bolt on for 3 yrs without any problem......

if those of u never use bolt on before, dont cincai say maintaince high lar, engine rosak lar, this and that..... becoz u never really use one but keep saying its bad and spread rumours about it.

i never use bolt on before but intrested to listen to those who have..... as far as i know, those using bolt on turbo have no complain so far ...... only those who didnt use and giving complain.. .....i wonder...

making your piston high compression will only make your hp come earlier, it doesn't increase it unless your have cam or dvvt

dvvt (EJ-VE) is 10.5 though

what part i need to fix dvvt?

pulley with it's mechanism, cam, wiring and ecu
that's what i got from a friend but i never try before so i cannot assure you

below is the pic of EJ-VE, it looks exact like EJ-DE
64ps at 6000rpm

A L9/L7 engine transplant is much better...worry free

How long can you stand a 0.5bar boost? Ask any turbo driver...you want more everyday...Supertec88 is boosting 3 bar for IHI sake! :P

:o so far has he got his car paboom ar?

btw if i've a choice within bolt on n L9 tebo..i rather go for L9 turbo...cos its hassle free..

Bolt-on turbo should cost around 3-4k.Maintenance is the only thing that you have to worry about.DJgErM is right.Better to get a 4 cylinder L9 engine.

A 3 cylinder engine will always remain a 3 cylinder engine. The only thing u would feel is the turbo is its bolted on.Transplant that L9 sucka!

how much 2 transplant L9

becoz its not "one-make" cams, regrind cams always given tis problem......

really want to racing cams, order fr aussie.....cost u a boooooom :P

yup, for bolt-on the cost aroud 2k-3k but a lot of work need to do including modi and customing parts. My Kenari almost 3 weeks in workshop and will completed in 1 - 2 more days. Still maintain stock piston but using double metal gasket for more protection on da piston when boosting on gear 1, 2 & 3.
Mine using L6 engine head with all da parts and also da turbine set. B'coz this car is n/a ecu so thats why need more works to be done..
