I am a bit fussy to spend on that pricey 'boost controller' and some says that the alternative is tulang ikan..How to install it? And is there any bad consequences if we installed tulang ikan? Making enjin rosak so soon?

So if no problem with your engine, how to install it?

before ur T hose actuator put ur flowerhon fishbone.

must remember it will not remove the boost cut as it still remain boost cut.

With Fishbone:
Watercooled turbo boost cut tested only go 1.0bar

Oil cooled turbo cut tested only at 1.3bar

See at GTTikuning pics there goes the fishbone.

Hi cateyes,

Whats the difference between watercooled turbo boost & oil cooled turbo boost? I assume in any turbo-charged car only 1 of them can appear at the same time right?
For gtti, which 1 applies? :willy:

Just simple and depends on luck.

Water cooled turbo have water hose to radiator and oil cooled turbo just like Gttikuning pics.

its an electronic boost controller..wiring done..just need to get vacuum hoses to connect the IN/OUT..coz the stock OEM hose connected from the turbo to actuator is TOO short..

any idea where can I get reliablie hoses?

adviseable to get the black vaccum hoses as the stock. You can get it at any spare parts shop.Make sure u bring the sample or shown him the hoses.

Some might used silicon hose.depends on u to choose either the stock or the silicon.
