A engine with 9:5:1 CR consider as a high compression engine or a low compression one?
Does this engine suitable for turbocharged?

0.4 is abit disappoint eh =Srule of thumb BOT engine....
with stock head gasket, stock piston, stock conrod, stock conrod bearing....
u can boost happily at 0.4bar (*provided with proper tuning on engine management comes along)
Not on CVT....now it is on Auto but will replace it to Manual soon berfore BOT ~Normally BOT safety boost at that level. Sure you can boost to 0.8 but at your own risk. I believe most of the workshop would not recommended especially if on CVT gear box.
Yeah yeah ~ definitely.....cause the original ECU can't read boost pressure signal unless u just "cheat" it....but it will inject same amount of fuel even there is no boost which make the FC worst, black smoke.etc ....but that is a poor mans mod la ~I think your stock ECU cant support your setup atleast you need a piggyback ECU.
See we got expert over here. You can save lot of hassle by taking others experience. Gd luck...fastlearner said:I'm running 0.6 bar @ 150whp with my stock M15A, so far so good. I think for a daily beater it's more than enough, BOT done by GT Auto. FC is not that bad either, if i drive sensibly, I can get around 380-400km per full tank, RM70, ron95. Planning to convert to ZC31 manual g/box soon so that can boost higher, haha... Check out this link for more info - Suzuki Swift Turbo
