I prefer uluyam roads more than Sempah or Genting roads. But Uluyam sometimes has trucks and cyclists which is annoying.

Genting now got more of that annoying juddering small bumps, then going down more & more big speed bumps.
Ulu Yam nice smooth roads but only single lane 2 ways so once stuck behind someone slow, then need to be more careful and patient to overtake. At night also very dark.

With friends la, a few cars, but Karak up to Genting then down, no unusual stuff I've seen also.

Ulu yam I've tried only once when coming back from Cameron with the family then on the way go thru Ulu Yam to Gohtong just to get dinner at Chuan Kie there. We arrived around 9:30 or 10pm that time so we went thru the Ulu Yam around 8:30-9pm but already very dark, no unusual stuff also though.
