LFA is expensive according on a fellow ZTH who is in Japan. If only Toyota Lexus actually made a cheaper race version then they will be in.. i also think maybe they will use GT86 since that little guy can push up more horses...

- With new technical regulations being introduced for the 2014 Super GT season, Honda announced 2013 will be the final year for the Honda HSV-010 GT. For the 2014 season, Honda will base their cars on the Honda NSX.

- TOM'S expanded to two cars, with the acquisition of Team Kraft's machinery.

- Tomei Sports and Dijon Racing, who both competed in Callaway Corvette Z06R GT3s last year, announced that they would both switch to race a Nissan GT-R GT3 this year.

updates:

- New technical regulations are in effect for the 2013 season; as a result, LM-GTE class machinery and racing prototypes are no longer eligible, making FIA-GT3 and JAF-GT – based on vehicles currently in production – are the only eligible machinery. This has resulted in a change of machinery for many teams. Team SGC and Team LMP Motorsports withdrew from the series, as they could not acquire eligible machinery for the class.

- Gainer expanded their team to two cars, switching their Audi R8 LMS ultra for two Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3s.

- Green Tec & Leon with Shift, who utilised a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 in 2012, split up into three separate teams: Green Tec, Leon Racing, and Team Shift. With Green Tec backing the R'Q s Motorsports and the other two teams operating separately, the three teams will all use a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3.

- Tomei Sports would switch their Callaway Corvette Z06.R GT3 to race with a Nissan GT-R GT3.

- Dijon Racing expanded their team to two cars, racing with both a Nissan GT-R GT3 and a Callaway Corvette Z06R GT3.

- After a season's absence, Direction Racing will return to GT300 in 2013, with a Porsche 911 GT3R.

Yes this is the last season as next year SuperGT will follow DTM rules..

I thought this year the DTM rules started for GT300, that's why cars like Garaiya and the Shiden has been replaced with CR-Z and SLS?

not sure bcoz from what i read, DTM n SuperGT agreed n signed this year (in 2010 they had some issues)

2nd, it is only for GT500 bcoz GT300 still has those cars like Ferrari n Lamboghini.

Garaiya is already too old to race also ARTA has been really close to Honda...

Shiden i am not to sure, but i heard was something to do with rule changes which if i am not mistaken nothing to do with DTM

celciuz, that's the sad reality. Not many official news in English about SuperGT..

to many rumours n stuff...

anyway i just keep my fingers crossed... i had a bad incident in 2009..
