my car is lancer06 1.6 litre 4G18...which one will be better a turbo bolt on or an evo half cut engine swap...cos i afraid my stock engine will blow up if i turbo bolt it..plz give comment tq

i think if u swap 2 evo engine u cant register ur car..thats what they told me when i went to register my car last week..

cos i afraid of side problems..i heard ppl doin engine swap alwes have lots of problems....they have to go back to repair lots of spoil things even after the swap

ahaha... these days can't register 2.0 liauz... u can try... but if cannot then wat u gonna do? take out the engine ah? hahaha...

last month my friend register his lancer mx 1.5 to fully converted evo6..juz undertable a bit only

depends on how deep your pockets are, and mechanic's skills. A bolt on will give you some level of satisfaction, while swapping in a high performance engine will give you the flexibility of further upgrade in the future.

The reliability of the engine will depends on the driver's driving habits and as well as the tuning, and how's the job perform during the installation. Everything counts.
