Datin Seri Endon Mahmood Passes Away

PUTRAJAYA, Oct 20 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister's wife Datin Seri Endon Mahmood passed away at 7.55 am Thursday at the Prime Minister's official residence Seri Perdana Putrajaya, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi told Bernama. It has been officially announced and confirmed that on 24th of October 2005 would be declared as a public holiday.

i received that over email as well but i when i went to log onto the bername site, i could not find the link to that article. better to wait for an official statement man. the time on the article says 8:27 am when she passed away at 7:55am. takkan so fast they make announcement already... dunno ler, wait and see. anyway sad news indeed.
