Guys I can't decide which one is better for a satria.. Any suggestion? And regarding the parts which is easier and which one cheaper?

depend on your driving style...if u prefer instant acceleration,u might choose gsr turbo...but if u want to be low-profile and have something secret under your hood,u can go for MIVEC...hahaha...i'm quite bias to mivec actually...hehe:biggrin:

the mivec acceleration is better, GSR need to keep down shift for the boost.. is mivec part more expensive for GSR?

4G63T surely is a monster, but I'm more interested in mivec.. Haha! Anyway, which turbine you using? TDO5?

mivec cam is more expensive than gsr...t/body and intake for mivec also can be use for gsr engine,so consider same price...

right now i have satria 1.8 sohc

thinking to convert to mivec 1.8

i got an offer to swap my engine with mivec turbo topup rm7k plus labour charge

or

i just set up mivec 1.8 from sketch

I guess you can go for it because, only the original mivec halfcut already cost 9k. Can think about it la, haha.. And which turbine it using? TDO4 or TDO5?

i cant remember..
but surely not td04 or td05
plus if i wanna go for high boost
certainly i must change the turbo kit 1st..

that make me in dilemma rite now.
i can just find mivec head + evo 3 turbo kit ( my fren maybe wanna sell it to me cheap becoz he plan to upgrade to GT30) + piggyback + injector

Haha! I also getting headache about it.. Hmm, evo3 it should be tdo5 :) hmm what about mivec head, GSR block, evo3 turbo kit? And 4pods brake? It's a must to get a better brake.. Haha!

mivec turbo i wanna swap is not using turbo kit evo 3.
i cant remember what turbine but he used turbo smaller than td05,ic smaller than ic e3..
so i think i got to change the turbo kit to e3.
still need 4 me to add more money

if i wanna do i from sketch, head mivec nowadays hard to find.damn

dude, with stock i/c, boost comes in at 2k plus..whr got lagg?..

mivec is more suitable for light satria body. the only advantage of turbo is on straight line speed. for handling or cornering, mivec will bring u more fun. unless if u plan to make a 4WD turbo, thats another story.

Ok then even with a vr4 i/cooler, r u trying to saying mivec's acceleration is better?..

Depends.. You should try driving a 1.8 Mivec and a normal GSR and compare.

Mivec = Easier maintenance + high rev fun
GSR = More power + Kepish/keching/chuss

Not to say Mivec slower than GSR.. My 1.8 Mivec can tapau stock GSR.. my ride only has exhaust and air filter mod.
