hi guys, my kembara is eating more fuel this time around. It's very strange.
I've gone 300km on a full tank but now, my tank is almost empty and it's only 150km.
have any ideas??

I recently change my spark plugs and used iridium spark plugs and change the spark plug cable to high performance 9.8mm cable.
and also installed a volt stabilizer.
I thought it can save fuel more.

it's automatic.
I didn't change the extractor so it's still stock.
erm, currently using basic 15 inch rims and tires only.
my engine is in good condition I suppose, have to change the mounting though because it shakes a lot.

if yr kembara is the previous batch without the Dvvt...then the FC is terribly high coz its lack of power and full time 4wd......

it's the one before DVVT, yeah I understand that its underpowerd and full-time 4WD, but even with that I lost 30km after I change the spark plug and everything.
so I'm wondering why only.

I'm currently using the new DENSO Iridium Spark Plugs. No.20 something like that lar, supposed to be more powerful than No.16, not sure how to explain.
yeah, I think gear oil also I have to check. Air filter? think I should change sports air filter?

friend u shouldn't use IK20 !!!!!!! U shud use back the 2 side electrode 1 !! Because it is knows for its type of air swirling in the engine n need a 2 head plug to complete its burning !!! Try ask for NGK 1. The denso IK20 only fit for DVVT engines !! If possible us lower viscosity rating engine oil like 10w/40

i have try DENSO iridium plug b4, the power lose than b4 compare with stock plug!
the cooler plug is just 4 high compression n turbo engine use! normally NA engine use no5 cooler plug , if denso is IK16=no5 (IK20=no6 cooler) try use NGK plantinum BRK5 is better than DENSO plug, my friend have try denso plug for wish ...he say is fxxking plug , his car got high FC than b4.

dont change high flow air filter u will lose big power at low mid torque, n FC olso get hi, if u dont belive u try get out ur air filter n try drive, u will feel ur pickup no power! so use stock air filter is better!

call or sms me if u want more infor , get my fon no on ur PM:biggrin:
