Dear All,

Thanks for all the help, i had decided to stick with my trust worthy Lancer as it has went through a decade of life with me, sentimental value is there. Realistically speaking, it is still in very good condition and plenty of spare parts had been changed to make it run optimally.

Next mods: 4B12 swap and target 200whp with N/A mods.

So aiming at >100hp/ltr at the crank? Can the CVT take it? Maybe consider convert to manual first?

Hi,

Newer CVT8 tranny has higher torque tolerance compared to my current CVT7. CVT7 has limitation at 240nm, while CVT8 is 300nm above. The 4B12 + CVT8 tranny will be moved over entirely to replace my 4B11 and CVT7.

If i am lucky i might find a 4B12 with manual tranny half cut from SGP.

It's not worth it, 3.5k for completing the swap, for 3.5K i can get the same manual half but from SGP and another 1K to swap it in.

A Porsche 911 Turbo is a very desirable machine that is up there with the best of the supercars. Bump up the power a little and you have the even more desirable 911 Turbo S with 530hp.

That’s very quick and all but the half a ton mark is par for course these days. So tuning firm Techart remapped the ECU, threw in a free-flowing air filter, a...
