There is / was this company located in KL specialising in boosting CR-Zs. I can't remember the exact name but they had a handful of boosted CR-Zs in either turbo or supercharged form, this car may have come from there

Yaya.. that shub be the case.. but im not sure whether thick/metal gasket is using.. the only way is to ask the workshop who modded tis car.. same goes to the bar level..

I will arrange a day n get tis car check by the workshop. :)

easiest and simplest way is to do compression test on all 4 cylinder... dry test as well as wet test....

Jus did abit of readings on compression testing.. hehe now got abit of understanding.

Mind to ask few question:
1) if after did the wet test, compression is higher than dry test(first round of test without putting oil) means the rings and/or cylinder is worn. No change in the readings means has a bad valve. Then is it means normal condition, the compression reading on wet test mus b lower than dry test??
2)Normally how much they charge for doin compression test???
3)what r the things i shud demand for checking beside the compression test? Currently in my mind is to check
a) adjustable see got leaking or not
b) brake system
c) tyres (but dealer agreed to change 2nd hand for me)

Thank you thank you :)))

4 cyl dry test: all must be pretty close reading (or dead even consistent reading) *GOOD*

4 cyl wet test...usually old good engine reading be slightly higher than dry test but still maintain consistency *GOOD*

dry reading much lower than wet reading = bad ring

no change in wet/dry reading probably bad valve seat

if got variation, need to check with manufacturer (honda workshop manual)

not sure how much workshop charges....probably from rm70-300 depends

Isn't there a bolt on turbo made by Honda? Is it known whether this car has the standard bolt on or an aftermarket mod?

Are all 4 cylinders having about the same reading. If yes, then probably ok
And are you going to buy this car and use only once in 2 weeks?

If about the same reading means good. If varies too much means some cylinder not good.

You buy and go outstation can keep at my place.....lol
I drive turbo also mah! so safe.....hhahhahahhaha:biggrin:
