Blow Off Valves
GFB Hybrid (Part No: 1003)

GFB pioneered the Hybrid system back in 1998 (which has since been copied by many other manufacturers),
featuring two venting outlets, one is a recirculation outlet and the other dumps to atmosphere. This system means that about 50% of the air is recirculated, resulting in an audible but slightly more subdued blow-off noise. It also means that certain Audi/VW, Nissan, Mitsubishi and other cars with sensitive airflow meters can use this valve and make a great blow-off sound without backfiring or ECU error codes. No other manufacturer can boast such success with these types of cars.

The latest version of the Hybrid allows the user to vary the noise characteristics of the valve, essentially making the Hybrid three valves in one! By swapping either the trumpet or the recirc outlet for a special plug (now supplied), you can change the valve to 100% recirc (silent), 50/50 recirc/atmosphere (medium noise), or 100% atmosphere (loudest). By purchasing an additional trumpet (Part no. 6110) you can also turn your Hybrid into a Bovus Maximus


GFB Basic (Part No: 1004)

Sporting the same quality internal components and unique features found in all GFB valves, the Basic is actually the highest flowing valve in the universal range. The 5-hole pattern ensures a huge venting area and free-flowing air path.

Other valves on the market may look like the Basic, but rest assured, size for size the Basic will out-flow most of them by up to 40%. Because of the free-flowing characteristics, this valve is not as loud as the Mach 1 or Bovus Maximus. This does however, make it a good choice for big horsepower engines

All turbocharged vehicles utilize some form of factory boost control, most of which display a tendency to be conservative in allowing the boost to build up, and then taper away noticeably toward redline. A GFB Boost Controller however, not only allows quick and easy boost level adjustment, but it can also reduce the boost threshold (the RPM at which boost starts to rise) and maintain a rock-steady upper limit. Note that this controller does not use a ball-and-spring arrangement, for a very good reason

yes for Silvia S15 bolt-on kit, model available is only GFB Stealth FX (Part No: 1010). the price would be the same as the Stealth FX posted above.

Will GFB Hybrid bolt-on to stock BOV flange? If not, any special adapter? My ride is a Galant VR4.

"The 1990 to 1993 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 comes factory fitted with a diaphragm type BOV in a steel housing, which is bolted to a flange on the factory intercooler piping in front of the engine on the driver's side. The GFB Stealth FX and Deceptor Pro (R33 - 34 Skyline kits) bolt directly to this flange. Other GFB BOVs can be fitted easily using the 5102 flange adaptor.

The BOVs listed above will cover power outputs from the standard flywheel figure of 148 kW upwards. However, to obtain power outputs much higher than 130 rwkW a larger intercooler with custom plumbing and a custom BOV installation will be more common. In this case the weld on pipe adaptor (supplied with each BOV) should be used."

How much is the 5102 flange adaptor?

5102 - Nissan Skyline HCR32 GTS-T Flange Mount Adaptor (suits 1001 - 1005, and 1008) for RM135.00. GFB Hybrid product code is 1003

unless this flange which is originally for n.skyline fit ur application, sorry i'm not sure as my list doesnt have anything bolt-on for VR4.
