Mobil also now has Mobil 3000 X1 5w40 in Tesco.
Yeah for Mitsu's HLA, I also used to use Total Quartz 9000 5w40 FS.
Yesterday saw new oil in Aeon (Formerly Jusco) Shell Formula FS 5w-30 comes in 946ml x 4 for RM129
SN rated Made in USA

Ok "oil cooled" isn't the right terminology, my bad. But I don't know how else to explain what it is I'm thinking.

Anyway. Small turbo no need so thick oil la. I'm sure the oil can take the heat.

Yah! most oil on sales are mostly 40 weight, now those using 30 can also get. RM129 is cheap....:driver:

Great, it's not far from my place and I often go there. But for now I'm still using the Mobil 3000 X1, still got stock I bought in Tesco.

What brand would you recommend for Proton Wira car?

Currently using FUCHS but seems not as good as Castrol Magnetec I used in the past. Thinking of trying Shell or Petronas. What's your call?
I would recommend Torco TR-5. Engine feels smoother and I seem to be getting better gas mileage as well. :driver:

I find the price to alright as the quality is there :burnout: I get mine from Kakimotor for RM135 inc GST for 4 liters but I recently saw someone here selling it for RM125
But that's only semi synth oil right? For that price I can buy full synth oils already from other popular brands, granted that they must be on promotion price in Tesco/AEON.
Torco, Amsoil, Liqui Moly, Motul, HKS, etc2 are well know high quality oils but they never on such promotion anywhere, so to me they're expensive. Maybe if someday I own high performance cars then I might consider those but now my ordinary sedan & MPV do not need expensive oils.
