NISSAN SKYLINE GTR-34 '2000 reg '2005 1 owner V-spec Nismo W-bodykit 18' sport CD player tip-top cond very very low mileage see to believe RM208k neg. Pls call direct owner 012-2886064

208k for a 7 1/2 years old car is rather steep. How much should I offer?

Does anyone know the history of this GTR? I am sure it is already de-modded.

rather steep? Mine is almost 1 year older and 80k more expensive, (but that was 1 year + ago).. and if its a direct owner and not unreg/recond, u will probably be able to check on maintenance records, etc.. thats the pro, but the cons are hard to get loan.

Yes, 2 or 3 years ago an unreg GTR V Spec was asking 290 - 300k but we are talking about used GTR V SPec here. The asking price does vary from 240 - 300k depending on mods/condition etc.

The lowest so far I have seen is the Red GTR V Spec which was asking 170k++ but that car got some serious problems.

So if this is a nice one, good condition and the mileage is genuine then I might offer 180 - 190k. The car is de-modded, hence the selling price.

If you have paid attention to Japan market, the R34 GTR V Spec II's price has been dropped to under 4 million yen, from 4.8 million yen a year ago. The Japan used car dealer hardly sell any GTR V Spec II above 4 million yen, unless its really in superb condition.

So it is understandable that an unreg V Spec II in malaysia was asking 260K few months ago. A better condition one, like the one in Jalan Tun Razak Show room, asked for 280k neg.

Mine was 308k, advertised for 328k - had under 17,000kms and was a V-Spec II unregistered and the interior was spotless and all the CD software, etc for the MFD were still in its original wrapping. It did however have at least 50k worth of mods cause N1 inspected the car and noted all the aftermarket parts. Having said that, if you think an R34GTR is expensive then how about the prices R32GTRs still command despite being at least 15 years old? I know a few people willing to pay cash for good examples even over RM100k. I guess we all need a hobby to stay out of trouble :)

In Japan, the price of a GTR V Spec (not v spec 2) is equal to 2 GTR R32.

If there is a nice GTR R32 in good condition with some mods, I am willing to pay over 100k for it too. (105k:biggrin: )

Not to offend GTR R33 owners, but I think only GTR R32 (first skyline GTR) and GTR R34 (last skyline GTR) are worth collecting.

Actually I am looking for a used GTR R34 V Spec II, and never interested in any de-modded cars.

well in japan even the fc3s is more expensive than fd3s.. that because its so easy to get new cars and the old n prestine one are more valuable.. nowadays money isnt much of a problem, its getting the model. esp the old rare ones.... like a four door r 32 gts which the ori godzilla was based on..hehehehehhehee

That depends on individual and how you see things. All three models had it moments in history but considering the R-32 and R-33 seen more actions locally in Japan and internationally ...

Famous races that I know of:

R-32 (JGTC; Bathurst, Australia; ATCC, Macau GP; various US event; Pikes Peak)
R-33 (JGTC; Le Mans 24hrs; Pikes Peak)
R-34 (GT-500; which later end up using the VQ-30DETT and in my opinion suxs).

Technically I admit the R-32 is a no bullshit race-car ready, the R-33 tried to cramp too much technology beyond it's time, while the R-34 as anyone would know, had reverted in between the both which is definately more refined of them all. Personally I prefer the "No Bullshit" idea myself ... And by the way, what's this HICAS thing (a PoS)? .... hahaha ...

Unfortunately that is what happening now. I feel sorry for those who paid 290K for a 99 or 00 model GTR but unless you plan to keep for life or many years, so the market price should not bother you.

I plan to keep the car until my grandson gets to drive it:burnout:

Hello frenz,

I have some problem with my car engine. :hmmmm:
It will jerk/turn off while still moving when I press the clutch to shift from high gear to low gear and when slow down at trafic light. It happen quite frequent unless if I keep on accelerating the engine. This only happen when I turn on the aircond.
Fyi, I'm using engine Silvertop 20V that fix into toyota AE111.
Appreciate your help/idea on how to solve this problem.

Thank you.
