im driving a 96yr Astra F or mk3 known by the brits

engine: C16SE with AF13 autobox

well for this car its a love and hate relationship

love it for the : ride,quality, power and a german badge (even its under GM now) the WoW factor.

hate it for the: pain in the ass hard to find spareparts, not all mech dare to fix this kinda car

so far the best i can do is get the haynes manual and the Opel/vauxhall workshop manual CD from singapore..

and try DIY some repairs myself

well any other owner here? can specify some good place to get the car serviced

It's my friend'Supra, Blitz Body Kit, 19" and 18" Blitz Wheels ... not top speed for this but she's auto limited at 250 km/h !!!!

Your " She's " is referring to the owner or the Supra ? Just a lil bit curious.

its actually to see the extinction of Opel cars in Malaysia.... they roamed the streets like 10 years back ... hehe anyone old enough would've remembered all the Opel Gemini Taxis before the stupid Iswara right? from all i remember, the crude ride of the diesel engine of Geminis is well rewarded back for its plush seats... better ride than those tin can taxis they're using here.. :)

I almost went for a 97 Opel Vectra before opting for an Audi A4 ..... i backed off after noticing Opel cars being totally forgotten by workshops ... 2nd car dealers and so on ..... hmmmm poor thing... now Opel under that big fat slow GM mammoth. . really worry bout their future.... more over that stupid GM took Opel's Zafira and named it Chevrolet .... haigh....

ingolstadt, i seriously hope Opel does not phase out of existence here in Malaysia bro. i and i bet many more would really love to see Opels or Vauxhalls running around the streets here hehe. and how good it would be if we could see fully locked and loaded Opel prowling the streets of KL hehe. like the one during the 1993 DTM.
