Any IS250 owners or club around?

a fren just bought a is250 jap spec.. any prob with RON95? tq

not sure bout jap sepc. Local test drive unit using RON95. Jap spec tuning is higher than local and UK, guess RON97 might be the choice for jap spec.

I am a newbie here. Owned one 7 months back but only realised there is such good forum on IS in Malaysia.

In fact, learned couple of tricks on the car like the one Dhanidad advised on the special hidden button for trunk opening. Imagine myself using the key each time for 7 months...stupid me.

Basically, bought mine at Naza, navy blue Japan specs that comes with standard 18 inches 225/40 and 255/40.

What can i say, i love this car....makes me look forward to drive out from home every start of my day.

By any chance anyone from JB ? I am from KL, but am working here for couple of years.

if local spec navi dvd can work on UK spec navi, im willing to pay for the dvd .......

2. anyone know what is the price for lower arm ball joint ? i check with the spare part shop in JB, it cost Rm360 / unit, is the price fair enough ?

Why change the ball joint? got some noise? who diagnose and what was the symtoms........ i also got some noise when on uneven road........ could be the same thing?

Bro,

Why change the ball joint? got some noise? who diagnose and what was the symtoms........ i also got some noise when on uneven road........ could be the same thing?

mines is ok on uneven road , it just when i press the brake pedal and make a turn ( around 20-30km speed) , got noise , confirmed is both left and right hand ball joint spoiled, lubricant oil inside the ball joint leaked out , dried, causing the sound

hi jeweltag, welcome to the club.....

I don't think the GB oil can be used for a life time... just changed mine at 60K

ok...i read that only 1 to 2 litres can be drained ...when actually it is many litres inside....i also read that it is life long and sealed...i m so confused! so which atf you used and how many litres?

ATF oil only need 1.8L.....beside gearbox got one nuts,need to remove the nuts and pump in from tat side....rear side shaft gearbox not sure need to change or not....Can use estima ATF oil....
