front disc have scratch

dear members..pls help me..what is the problem for my civic fornt disc brake?the front disc left side have scratch..i already change to another caliper complete with another nice disc..but the problem still same...my mechanic said that was brake masterpump problem..is that true?pls help me....

It could be due to the metal of the caliper touching the brake disc. When you brake do you hear a faint metal "screeching " sound?

Have you check the brake pad?

just get it resurfaced. but check to see if the disc is warped (bend). why did you change the caliper ???

something is scratching it.....inspect carefully and look for a second opinion. master pump or brake pump regulates the pressure on the pistons in the caliper.

pls think rationally. The best mechanics I know are rational people.

brake pad are still thick and change with new caliper ,changing because i think maybe caliper piston stuck or etc,but master pump problem maybe the cause....:hmmmm:

yes bro..my mechanic advise me to change the masterpump and surbo...maybe masterpump inner parts had rusted...:hmmmm:

yes bro..that's rite...1 month trouble shooting fpr this problem....already change many parts..this last choice will change masterpump and brake servo..hopefully can settle this problem....

open ur brake set and look for missing parts like brake pad clip etc...

gud idea bro..iwill try that..as we all know..to solve problem..mst try and error....already change 2 set of caliper with 2 set of pad brake already...
