What have Advancing Technology killed?

Please list what technology which is now more or less obsolete because of Newer Advanced technology.
For example:-

1) Cassette Tape as recording media, now all use thumb drives
2) Vinyl Records replaced by compact Disc
3) Analog Film Cameras by Digital Cameras

7) PS1 replaced by PS3 with DVD-HD

Petrol/Diesel not dead yet, still more then hybrid, maybe in years to come then can add this in....

See this clip, reminds me that one day we will rely too much on technology.
This is one example I experience. Went to one office to buy something. Nowadays as you know computerized system and so fort. System breakdown, was told to wait. After a while, manger told the staffs to go manual. You know what? More then half the staffs don't know what to do.....kakakaka

technology kill communication (you can tap the phone all you want on the dinner table with your family and leave without even realising you haven't spoke a word to your ma pa , bro or sis, and yet you think is ok ! )

since this is car forum, i'd say its the advance technology in cars i.e abs,esp, vsc, abc have killed the need to learn to be smooth driver, drivers can now chuck the steering , mash the throttle, slam the brake without having to deal with the consequences,
its good but not necessarily right.

The 458 Italia doesn't even have manual, other manufacturers have follow suit (GTR, Golf Gti...etc2)
