Peugeot 208. It looks good. Fuel efficient too.

I highly recommend it. Full fledged equipment. Comfortable. Less than 100k for a continental car. Is a bien (good in french) car.

Do not touch that car. You will cry. And don't touch Volkswagen.

Nice to see, nice to hold, once you buy it cry till no tomorrow.

Ya, better stick to Japanese la, easy and cheap to maintain, the best reliability & best value for money, plus easy to resell some more with still much better RV.

How much is a Japanese car 10k interval service?
My Mark X only less than rm190 for 10k oil change last time using 6 ltr FS oil with filter.
My Livina only about rm100 for the same.

Note: I bought my own oil during Tesco promotion though.

If you're talking Toyota, not a lot. The most expensive a service can be is 1.2k that's including all the oils and gaskets and stuff. Mazda 2 and Vios major service is at the 100-200k range which will cost more as it involves timing chain inspection. Otherwise it's relatively cheap even at the service center.

Well, depends what is serviced. More items more costly, and most SC have fixed timing for replacement parts too.....

imo problem is not really with the service interval costs.... its the cost to replace stuff that goes suddenly unexpectedly wrong.... it can be a huge bomb

friends 308 transmission went wrong, cant remember what it costs but i think he was quoted a 5 figure number.....

neighbor's merc key got lost, replacement was 1-2k (i think some japs will cost as much so not sure here)

Peugeot 208
Mazda 2 (diesel is coming, awesome.)
Honda City
Honda Jazz

Or a used R56 MINI Cooper S / Clubman (Maintenance is not as crazy as you guys think, just buy a warranty)

Slightly above RM100k I'd recommend the new facelifted Ford Focus. At RM118k with 180hp that's madness.

Hello, I bought one Tein HR hilo with non Tein Spring...I go for service all these absorber (that cost me 700 bucks), and the result, I drive my car like riding horse...It is soooooo tough. I ask any one pro bout this, and almost they say that I have to change the spring. (besides, the current springs were not mounted properly, so it make my absorber a little bit noise). BUT, I do not know what spring I'm goin to choose. Any one could help???
