can any one suggest what can i do for my exhaust(currently driving mivec 1.8)?? sound really loud until i pening after cruising 50++km back home, although i use mid silencer(mid muffler), piping 2.5 " but dunno y no power when mivec on ..... not enough tarik force at all like last time before bot.... is it maybe the exhaust guy do wrong or the mid silencer kacau since i know my air is not smooth, like bike, if press pedal to rev and release, got bob bob sound, air struggle to escape, how about the performance and sound if i change to use 2" direct with s.flow at the end? how can i overcome this?? pls advise

peter..your exhaust setup was from previous BOT system right????


maybe u need to change overal piping size with 2" diameter first and see what' the result.... :adore:

change to my setting, it cater me very well!

4-2-1 >>> pineapple >>> 2" piping >>> FGK 2.3" inlet midbox >>> 2.5" piping >>> 2.5" inlet S-Flow

engine is 2000cc stage 3 mods. i felt is is good for city driving n highway. most noise level comes from the engine bay not the exhaust. if all window closed, the noise is low below 4000rpm, good for long distance cruise

what is pineapple?? sory i m a newbie .... i using 4-2 and the set up is like what i say.. will going to see the exhaust redo today, c can i do something or not....

bro, i have done all redo to make back to mivec n/a , exhaust set up as i say + i added 1 more midbox to reduce noise, but, the pick up is nice from rpm 1k to 4k, more then that is like no force at all... yes , it is true, even with my mivec roaring already my car keep slow and steady :bawling::bawling: even kancil or stock 4g15 can potong me like that if they wan :bawling: how can this be?? my piston anything already change to n/a (high compression), and service necessary parts, is the engine timing wrong affect this?? or like my mech suspect of, block damaged by previous BOT? :bawling: need help pls :bawling: :bawling:

then i think you need to find out whats wrong with the engine liao. anyway mind to show whats your exhaust setup now ?

4-2 header with 2.5" piping all the way with 2 mid box and 1 rear s.flow

i tink its super rare and could be very close to non existence lol
but ive just joined the turbo gang for like 3 months now oni so i tink i would just max out my time here before i am forced to retire :biggrin: due to other commitments :banghead:

perdana sohc engine with turbo head or original dohc N/A 4g63 from halfcut???

coz the TB seems similiar with perdana unit to me.. :hmmmm:
