check the MAP system, wiring, any sensor also ECU. Anything could be the main distraction.

my problem is when my car rev til 4000rpm it's start to choke a bit and some power loss
this is the behavior of 4age 20v engine. VVT engaged at 4k+rpm
see the dyno chat.

Join the TT and test drive ppl car to see whether the same problem occured
do a dyno to check the AFR

sincere1 - yup it's a known issue...happened to me and GT20V...raise up the fuel pressure a bit...it's still there but not so severe...

but the questions is...
why the graph curved down during 4k rpm...
if you got a A/F meter...during that 4k, there's no reading for a few seconds...seems like it was too lean during that time...after a few second only then you will feel the power again...
why ?

why ?
i said: ????? ha ha ha

i will get my AFR chart to post it tomorrow
i dont know all 4age but i can say most stock 4age is lean at range of 4k-5krpm...need programmable ecu to solve this issue.
But you managed to solve it by raise up the fuel pressure...good info
Thanks

estimated 168 bhp
125 torque / lambda or boost? what is this?

143 whp
11.6 torque

132 whp and estimate 10.8torque

not bad. all setup are stock or got modd? all 6 speeder i believe.

that curve down, should be just before vvt kicks in. if see in small scale, will look like that. if bigger, u'll understand

Hi bros,

I have a few questions here.

Last week i re-installed my Vacuum Gauge from my old car (Iswara 1.3) to my Vios '05.

Due to the Vacuum hose is too big in diameter (8mm) for the T-joint (to the sensor), I changed the hose to a small diameter (7mm).

Question is:

1.) will it affect the engine if i change the hose diameter to a smaller size?
2.) the mechanic said that Vios is not advisable to intall a Vacuum Gauge as it need sufficient air. Is this true? I have not come...
