suitable gearbox for 4g93 na???

Alot ppl will make mistaken and create confusion to each other when come to discuss about F5M gearbox (i use to think like you all but after some research and stuff i found what i learn all this while was wrong :confused_smile:)

Generally F5m21 is use by Proton/MMC 1.3-1.5 and F5m22 is use by Proton/MMC 1.6-1.8 but MOST important is the alphabet after the F5m2x code which determine the gearbox ratio.

Anyway i believe pic tell a thousand word....here's some work i did sometime back

4G13/15 gearbox also can be fit...

so, can 4g13/15 engine use 4g91/92/93 or proton soch 1.6 gearbox? i mean include flywheel..

1.3 gearbox pick up will be so good and mivec also consider not bad cos i using it on my 93 but the top speed is a bit low cos i reach 210 is already 6.5k:X-:

1.3 gearbox is 4.322 FD, which is same with 4G93p gearbox.
however, mivec gearbox is come with 4.592.
Talk on top of paper, should be mivec will provide u better pick up compare to 1.3 gearbox.

need to take note that 1.3 gearbox is run with cable clutch, however mivec gearbox is run with pump.

any diff for proton's local use wit export use (UK spec)? mine was 1.6(M) UK spec, got someone wanna change wit mivec gb, said dat uk spec's got 'magic' inside, so confuse..
