Could someone explain to me what Remote input or ACC line is for? I plan to wire my active subwoofer, will anything happen if I don't connect the remote input cable to the HU?

remote cable acts like an on/off switch for the amplifier...

so say i wanna test the active woofer, can i just connect the ground and battery cables without the acc remote input then use an external source to test?

if you dun feed the remote with +12V then the amp wont turn on....

so when it doesnt turn on then it will not give out any sound...

hope that helps...

parallel power to remote for testing...

connect ur HU to remote input.. so when u turn on HU amp will turn on amp..

ty I managed to test it successfully, didn't work until i hoooked up the remote out as you said.

remote input is something like relay that we use in our car, it's kind of switch to allow the
+12v goes into the amp, if the amp doesnt has it then it will always power on till ur battery weak.
