Hey guys, recently my car had been coughing out whitish smoke. Brought it to the mechanic for a check and he said that the issue is engine related and recommends getting a new engine. The smoke come out when u start the car and also during gear shifting process. Its not very apparent yet so I would safely assume that its an early sign. Any ideas ?

White mist/smoke when you start engine is quite common.. but during shifting hmm.. did you put 2T into your fuel tank? If yes its because of the 2T

rotary engines are not like piston engines..simply replacing the whole engine from halfcut doesnot guarantee you the whole thing..overhaul and replacing all the wear and tear part is the best way...also if u want to replace with halfcut engine, it is highly recommended to overhaul the halfcut engine..so think about it

Thanks for the advice bro. found that the oil control seals are worn so we'll see how it goes frm there!

I think Liquid moly sell sealants for engines.. hmm not sure if that would cure the defect on your engine.. :3
