Well here is the scenario
My ck4a originally has a 4g92 sohc engine but I changed it to a mivec 4g92.

How do I confirm if its oil or fuel problem?

In a straight line everything seems fine. I'm hitting mivec but sometimes RPM suddenly goes up slowly then its followed by a "grrrrg" sound. I will let of the gas for a moment then floor it once again then the power is back but this happens extremely rare.

In the track I'm experiencing this. during a corner or consecutive corners.
RPM suddenly goes up slowly then there goes again the weird sound "grrrg". After the corner RPM is still going up slowly as if there is no power. In the straight the power comes back.
In the pit I tried to REV it. Everything seems fine. I entered the track again after several corners the problems comes back again.

I'm using the stock fuel pump of 4g92 sohc.

I'm confused. If I have a low oil pressure.
1. Can I rev until 8.2k rpm in idle? I'm revving until 8.2k in idle.
2. When I'm testing it on our local roads can I reach 8.2k rpm without engaging to high cams?
3. If I have low oil pressure problem should mivec literaly not kick in? or sometimes it will kick?

Is this a sign of low oil pressure? or fuel starvation?

If its fuel starvation will an evo gastank and a Walbro pump solve the problem?
