hi all oldtimer...
i have problem about my perdana v6 auto transmission..when i drove my car suddenly my transmission back to 2nd gear..almost 1 week i had this problem..please give your opinion or suggestion about this problem..

Bro...is ur v6 standard gearbox or have change to other gearbox?it is a usual problem for standard v6 gear..lol..right now i had changed to manual eterna v6 gearbox and the problem solved...or u can try use eterna (a) gearbox if u still like the auto transmission. if u still use the original gearbox and add fan or coolant...the problem still can happen...hope this will help u...

and one (1) more thing...my engine suddenly stop while im driving...terutama time jalan jam...peh...kalut jugak dibuat nye...so can you guys help me whats goin' on...

means its time to change your auto gbox...u have a few choices.
1. change to another recond auto gbox rm1.8k including workmanship- normally 1 mth warranty
2. change the internals, from spare part shop, but no warranty
3. change to manual tranny, bout rm2.5k - 3.5k, depending on the gbox codes.
4. get a halfcut, RVR manual rm4k, 6a12tt rm6-7.5k, evo1-3 rm7-9k. add another extra rm2.5k for wear & tear parts + workmanship.

if u plan to rebuild your auto tranny, get an ATF cooler & add a fan infront of it & use toyota type 4 ATF.

1 more thing, means your gbox jam already.....but dont press the accelerator, your car might shoot forward.

your car suddenly die off when hot weather ? only happen when afternoon n when u load the engine your car jerking right especially uphill ?
