ya its true. Even the rear "big arm/tai pei" of this car only cost RM100 for older model compare proton car which cost few more hundred percent, frenking crazy inflated price. While part for BMW will be very expensive for model like 528, for example the car starter will cost you RM850 plus installation charges it will end up around RM1k.

benz maintenace quite high, as mostly all r electronic components....once leak, the harness n componet need to replace.

1996 E-class guess it is no +/- gear shifting....so maintenace wise is cheaper compare to newer version.

btw, is the one u see is E200K izit?

My father use 190E and W124 E300... From my humble opinion, if you want to cut your throat you can send the car to workshop who claim themself 'Specialist Merc', usually I buy the part at chop shop (the price almost same like toyota, nissan, honda) and install it at my workshop ( I mean workshop bawah pokok), but if electrical or electronic problem usually I send to 'Merc Workshop'.... Some workshop they try to rip off Merc User because in their mind Merc user are rich people so they can hantam kau kau.. for gear box problem they quote 7K??? Rather buy Toyota 1JZ engine put in.... so be careful, but from my humble opinion also SOME rich people are very DUMB about car, thats why they easy get fool by those people in workshop.. What we can say they have money to pay... Cheers!

Hi,
Need some help.
Does anyone know where to buy light bulbs for GReddy electronic meters such as boost meter, exhaust temp etc?
Been searching around and only manage to find a shop in Sunway but with a throat-cutting price of RM12/pc.
Will post up a picture of how the bulb look like by tomorrow.
I have thought of going to Jalan Pasar and search for it but would like to try my luck here first (but if you do know of the exact shop which sell the bulbs, do let me know).
Thanks :)
