Yeah, that boost gauge is just dodgy.

I wonder what the NA boys have got to say, now that even Honda, one of the main bastions of NA has gone forced induction.

I'm sure there's market for a hot supermini. Something like what the Civic Type-R is to the normal Civic.

hmm... seems like most japanese manufacturers are going for frced induction to get more power... higher displacement isnt suitable for us....

Dunno bout that, but they're definitely building bigger engines these days.

Even cars like the Civic, which used to be 1.6 and below are getting at least 1.8 litre engines. Apparently it is more difficult to keep emissions down with smaller capacity engines while keeping power up. Forced induction could be a cleaner way to get more punch out of small engines, like what ze Germans are doing.

the developements in supercharger (esp in rotrex, twin-screw, not roots type) in recent times have made it popular in strict emission countries.

Quite a number of them are "without intercoolers" hence more cost saving to consumer. Its not about huge gains but "boosting" in areas where it helps in daily drives. it getting very popular in states these last year or so.

Don't think they are gonna mass produce it. It's still a Mugen concept i think. Anyway, I would still think the price tag for this car would keep drivers away from it...

Hi all 61T master,

I still cannot forget the feeling / excitement when I newly bring my car out from garage with 1.2 bar boosting in the street. After that successfully reduce the boost by installing new hose for actuator currently having my stock engine boosting @ 0.5 bar.
Now, I'm feeling itchy and want to up boost @ 0.8 bar (Enough for me as I'm fuel-consious person) and need master's advice for me what to do. Just simply up boost? Or what do I need in the first...
