The Ferrari 599 GTO marks the revival of the GTO brand first seen in the legendary 250 GTO of the early 60's and later in the 288 GTO of 1984. Both the early GTO's have won legions of fans and are marked as classics but the one thing that both the earlier GTO's have that the modern GTO doesn't is their own exclusive design, the 599 GTO is clearly still a 599. But the modern GTO trumps its classic brothers in terms of performance, it is the fastest Ferrari ever around the Fiorano test track, but is it the greatest? Chris Harris of EVO UK finds out.
