Im not sure if this thread still active, but i hope some sifu can help or give your expert advice.

I change my stock spring to Eibach Prokit for my honda City 2013 which is using 08 Jazz Model. I installed it at tyre shop, the first setup was the tigher coils face up for front, yet the wording is face down. The rear tighter coils face down. The setup was ok, can feel stability and some comfort, but problem is while go over bump got clanking sound from front. Send back to the shop to check, they take out the front and terbalik the eibach, which is tighter cois now face down. Result: no more clanking sound! Great! But no, after few days my front wheel and back swerve and the steering feels like the front wheel has no traction and slide and skid like no air pressure, but check is all the same. Send back for rotation and alignment, ok few days den come back again.

One of my fren say must be due to the rear ultra racing bar, suggest me to take it out. Same thing few days ok, but later swerve again on dry and not stable on corner, and skidden on wet! Coming back from Penang was dangerous, over taking can tend to swerve and on straight can feel can sliding.

Den check on all Eibach setup and notice some video say it is the tighter coils on top, as the larger space coils is proggressive is down. Again send back to the shop to change whole setup again with all four spring with the tighter coils face up. Now.. My car feel more comfort and less bumpy, but still got little bit slide behind. And clanking sound came back again from front, and some strange sound coming from rear also.

Is my setup correct? What is the problem with the slide? The absorber was check is still in good condition coz my car only 5month old. Check tie rods, lower arm all in order. Really scratching my head.

Hope sifu can help. Thanks in advance

maybe your jazz springs are not compatible with your city, although they look identical but engineering wise they have different rebound rate.
But i even check on eibach singapore, they use the same for Honda city too, 2008-2013 jazz and city.
One of the guys from kelana jaya told me eibach have city model, according to their salesman.

I check back with the shop i install they got it from Hokomoto, and they say its the same spring model.

there is no such thing as this spring can be used on another model.
why?
because the weight distribution, mounting, height, length will be different.of course being in Malaysia, everything can be rojak on a car.

u didnt mention at what speed does it looses traction.
if u are not that fast and looses traction i guess the spring just not made for yr car or it does not mount properly.

AM not sure, but this is told by other member also that can be use, some different comments.

My car lose traction once i sped around 90 onwards. And while overtaking, the car pull to another side and back sway too.. Even with ARB installed.

hello all, im new here and this is my case. recently bought a secondhand satria with gab adjustable abs on it and i think they're over 3 years old. some encounters that i observed the past 2 weeks:

1. squeaking and knocking sound in the rear every time car goes on uneven road
2. ride gets sooo bumpy over speed humps and potholes. highway ride is fine w slight understeer but kidneys almost burst few times running over yellow lines
3. vibration/bumpiness on the front left wheel area when accelerating, vibration continues beyond 70kph. this problem surfaced only 2 days ago, previously drove the car to 160kph few times and felt fine. worried to throttle past 70 now :afraid:

am i facing a suspension failure? if so, which experienced workshop/mechanic i should go to for repairs? i read a few good reviews on RSone Kepong and PRS Serdang, are they still creditable? these are 3yo gab shocks and hope to fix em within a reasonable budget. im thinking bout this day n night, in n out cos my new toy car not running well (poisoned?)

really need all you senior petrolheads and speedsters to point me to a direction please. tenkiu!

Go PRS and get those GABs rebuilt. Then change the suspension mountings and check all the perishables - drive shaft, bearings, dented rims, unevenly worn tyres, lower arm bushes, etc
